Teaser Tuesday (2)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along!

Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

"He has strong beliefs."
"In things that can't matter. In shards of pottery that are part of a made up fairy tale. Myths are metaphors."

I'm only a few chapters in, but it's really good so far!

Oh yes, a fragrance plays a pretty large part in the book so far. The protagonist comes from a family of perfume makers. :-)

Thanks! It's further along in the book than I've gotten so far, so I don't know what happened yet. :-)

It's been extremely well-marketed by the author. I'm liking it so far. I have to throw in some historical fiction or some other genre to balance out the MG & YA from time to time. ;-)
